This is a very beautiful city in the old state of Tyrol, and has very beautiful landscape and snow capped mountains. It is indeed a true Alpine beauty. In the Christmas season, this town’s “Altstadt” is converted into a magical wonderland. Using the Nordketten cable car, alpine skiers and sun seekers admire the fabulous panoramic sights. It is indeed experience of lifetime. This ride is very unique, since you can get to the mountain heights, at 860 m above sea level, while witnessing the outstanding architecture and daring ascents.
At the slopes of Kühtai, there’s nothing that can stop you. The only limit you’ll have there, seems to be the sky. As for the families that like more relaxed, wide turn skiing, the family slopes of Glungezer, Mutterer Alm, Rangger Köpfl, Patscherkofel or Schlick 2000 are perfect. And the ski enthusiasts enjoy skiing in Birgitzköpfl, where the tracks of the Olympic slalom specialist still remain.
