For a tourist, Milan is truly an interesting destination because of its amazing lifestyle, there is football, opera, the nightlife and most important a shoppers paradise. Milan is the second-largest city in Italy. Its original Latin name is ‘Milano’. Milan is located in the north-western section of the great Po Valley, between the rivers Adda and Ticino. Milan still holds the pole position as Italy’s marketplace for Italian fashion – fashion aficionados.

Markets in Milan are very interesting and you can buy almost every thing for bargains, some of the must visit markets are;Mercatone del Naviglio Grande-which takes place each last Sunday of the month from September and it is situated along the Alzaia Naviglio Grande,Fiera di Sinigaglia- it happens every Saturday morning in Viale d'Annunzio along the wharf ,Viale Papiniano- situated in Viale Papiniano, it offers food, clothing, shoes and textiles and finally,Viale Fauché-a market for fashionistas. 


With numerous attractions, good climate thought the year, great markets, famous cathedral, friendly people and great sports such as football ,Milan is one of the cities to consider visiting in once life time.
